Dhaka, Dec. 6 -- Religious Affairs Adviser Dr AFM Khalid Hossain has said that patriots never launder the own country's money abroad, while speaking as the chief guest at the International Qirat Conference, organised by Cumilla Al Quran Academy, at Cumilla Central Eidgah Maidan on Thursday night.

"Patriots can never siphon off the country's money abroad. We want to build a society free from corruption," he said Khalid Hossain said that after 54 years of the country's independence, the Alem-Ulama (Islamic scholars) now have the opportunity to come to power, and if they make any mistake this time, they may have to wait another 54 years.
