The lack of proper drainage in front of Kishoreganj 250-bed General Hospital is causing severe distress for patients, doctors, nurses, hospital staff, and their relatives.

Whenever it rains, overflowing water submerges the hospital premises, making movement extremely difficult. With the monsoon season approaching, concerns are mounting over worsening conditions.

Hospital authorities revealed that the former mayor had promised to construct a drain from the hospital's southeast gate to the Jute Research Center.

Although the municipality initially cleared the drain's shallow soil, the construction remains incomplete even after nearly a year.
