Dhaka, March 25 -- A new central executive committee has been formed for the 2025-2027 term of the Passenger Welfare Association of Bangladesh, an organisation dedicated to advocating for passenger rights and road safety in the country.

Recently, in the 30th meeting of the organisation's general council, the 11-member committee was formed with former Secretary of the Bangladesh Election Commission Mohammad Zakaria as chairman, Professor Mohammad Ruhul Amin of the Department of International Relations of Dhaka University as vice chairman, founder of the organisation Md Mozammel Hoque Chowdhury as secretary general, former executive director of Dhaka Transport Coordination Authority retired additional secretary Syed Ahmed as organising secre...
