Dhaka, July 10 -- The low-lying areas of Paikgachha in Koyra were due to heavy rains, causing extensive damage to crops. Thousands of fish ponds have been submerged in the monsoon water. Public suffering has increased. Various government and private offices, including the Upazila Agriculture Office and the court premises, and educational institutions have been flooded with rainwater. Heavy rains have flooded a vast area of Paikgachha twice in a few days.
