Dhaka, May 13 -- A total of 40,608 Bangladeshi pilgrims have reached Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj this year, according to the latest Hajj 2025 Daily Bulletin released Monday.
Of them, 4,583 travelled under government management, while the remaining 36,025 pilgrims used private agencies. The pilgrims arrived via 101 flights: 51 operated by Biman Bangladesh Airlines, 34 by Saudia, and 16 by Flynas. Biman transported the highest number-20,514 pilgrims-followed by Saudia with 13,336 and Flynas with 6,758.
This year, Bangladesh is expected to send 87,100 pilgrims in total-5,200 under government arrangements and 81,900 under private management. So far, 86,213 visas have been issued, fulfilling the government quota and covering 99 percent of the...
