Dhaka, Dec. 12 -- Outsourcing employees of Khulna 250-bed general hospital have formed a human chain expressing their anger and protest over not receiving their salaries for 18 consecutive months.
The human chain was held at 12 noon on Thursday in front of the main gate of the hospital.
A total of 46 outsourcing employees, including 14 people working under the supervisory office and 32 more under the civil surgeon's office, participated in it.
The banners displayed in the human chain read - "No salary for 17 months! Want salary, not begging", "Why ignore the High Court's order?", "Khulna 250-bed hospital - want answers."
