Dhaka, July 14 -- Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) has imposed a temporary ban on the entry of outsiders to its campus from July 13 to July 16, ahead of the observance of the martyrdom anniversary of Abu Sayeed and 'July Martyrs' Day'. The decision, aimed at tightening campus security for the upcoming program, was announced in a notification signed by the university's Proctor, Dr. Md. Ferdous Rahman, late Saturday (July 12). The notification stated that the restriction would be in place from 7:00 PM on Sunday, July 13 until 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 16.
