Dhaka, Sept. 28 -- Tollywood star Jisshu Sengupta recently opened up about his personal life in an interview.
Born in 1977 to theatre actor Ujjwal Sengupta, Jisshu grew up in a family where, at one point, they couldn't even afford proper meals for everyone. They had to survive through very difficult times.
In 1998, Jisshu stepped onto a shooting set for the first time. His acting debut came with the show Mahaprabhu.
Gradually, life began to change. Back then, he used to earn only 250 rupees per day.
Recently, Jisshu told Indian media, 'Many people talk about struggles, but I never felt that way.
I was working, earning money. Ours was a very simple family, so money was a necessity. We were happy.'
