Dhaka, Dec. 19 -- Sharif Osman Hadi, convenor of Inqilab Moncho and a prominent figure of Bangladesh's July Uprising, who was critically injured in a gun attack on 12 December, passed away at 9:40pm on Thursday while undergoing treatment at Singapore General Hospital.

In a Facebook post last night, Inqilab Mancha confirmed the death of the July warriors, who was an independent candidate for the Dhaka-8 constituency.
