Dhaka, Oct. 6 -- One of the three girls who went missing while bathing in the Dhaleshwari River in Tangail has been found dead. The other two remain missing as of the time of reporting.
According to police and locals, the incident occurred on Saturday afternoon in Ghosh Para area under Katuli Union in Tangail Sadar upazila. The three girls went missing while bathing in the river.
After hours of search, the Fire Service recovered the body ofMonira Akter (12) on Saturday evening. She was a fifth-grade student. The two missing girls have been identified asAchiya Akter (12)andMafia Akter (10)- daughters of expatriate Borhan Uddin from Sonamaizal village under Mahmudnagar Union in the same upazila.
