Dhaka, Sept. 16 -- President of Gono Odhikar Parishad President Nurul Haque Nur was discharged from Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Monday after 18 days of intensive treatment as he came under a severe attack in the capital.

While talking to the journalists at the facility, Director of Dhaka Medical Brigadier General Md. Asaduzzaman said, "Nurul Haque Nur has been discharged as per the decision of the medical board because his physical condition has improved."

However, doctors said that he needs several months for full recovery for the injuries he has been sustaining to his head and face.
