Dhaka, Nov. 7 -- North South University (NSU) has been ranked 149th in the QS Asia University Rankings 2026, announced Tuesday.

This achievement reaffirms NSU's status as the top private university in Bangladesh and the second-best overall in the country, combining both public and private institutions.

This year, the QS Asia University Rankings 2026 assessed a record 1,526 universities across 25 Asian countries, with 46 Bangladeshi universities participating. NSU's advancement from 155th last year to 149th this year marks a significant milestone entering the Top 150 in Asia for the first time, reaffirming the university's commitment to excellence in higher education, research, and innovation.
