Dhaka, Feb. 2 -- Education Adviser Professor Dr Wahiduddin Mahmud said there is no scope for giving special privileges to Titumir College and the demand to upgrade Titumir College into a university within the students' given deadline is not logical.
"Instead, I believe that Rajshahi College should be upgraded to a university, as it is the oldest college in Bangladesh," he said this while talking to reporters after the ECNEC meeting on Sunday.
The education adviser said many students of Titumir College want to return to their classes and do not support public suffering. He urged students to consider the inconvenience caused to the public during their demonstrations.
