Dhaka, Dec. 7 -- Bangladesh has reported no new dengue-related deaths in the 24 hours between Friday 8 a.m. and Saturday 8 a.m., according to the Health Emergency Operations Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Saturday.
During this period, 486 new dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country. The DGHS reported that among the newly admitted patients, 110 were from Dhaka North City Corporation, 66 from Dhaka South City Corporation, and 76 from areas of the Dhaka Division outside the two city corporations. Chattogram Division recorded 77 new admissions, while Barishal reported 50, Khulna Division 36, Rajshahi 34, Mymensingh 32, and Rangpur 5 patients.
