Dhaka, July 19 -- The government has given free legal advices to 4, 91,575 justice seekers through National Legal Aid Services Organisation (NLASO) from 2009 to June, 2025.
Confirming the matter, through its monthly update on its website, the statutory organisation of the government under the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, said 2,54,860 people were given legal advices from its legal aid offices in the 64 districts, reports BSS.
"A total of 1, 89,051 people received legal advices by calling on the national toll free helpline number 16430, while 26,032 people got the service from Supreme Court Legal Aid Office," it added.
