Dhaka, Sept. 27 -- Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Secretary General, Mia Golam Parwar, has claimed that the upcoming national elections will be a decisive battle between new voters and what he described as "killers, extortionists, and thugs."

Addressing a student and youth rally in Khulna's Dumuria upazila on Friday morning, Porwar expressed confidence that the youth who have rejected fascism in the past will not make mistakes when choosing the country's future leadership.
