Nahid Islam, a former adviser to the caretaker government, is said to be the leader of the student-led youth group party that led the last year's July-August uprising.
Meanwhile, Nahid Islam has resigned after six and a half months from the interim government.
He was in charge of Ministry of the Information and Broadcasting and the Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology.
