Dhaka, July 28 -- Fisheries and Livestock Adviser Farida Akhter said that a new Bangladesh would be built, paying respect to the sacrifices of the deceased and injured July warriors on Sunday.

"The July warriors did not join the anti-discrimination movement for their personal gains," she said, addressing "July upsurge revival, reminiscence and discussion-2025" at Gano Biswabidyalaya, Savar, here as chief guest, reports BSS.

Chaired by the Dean of the Arts and Social Science Faculty of the university Prof Nilufar Sultana, the function was attended by Vice-Chancellor of the university Prof Dr Md Abul Hossain as the special guest.
