Dhaka, Sept. 1 -- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former US President Donald Trump "deserve a genocide award," says Israeli columnist Gideon Levy.

He argues that outside Israel, no one bears more responsibility for the bloodshed in Gaza than Donald Trump.

In a column for the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, Levy writes that Trump can end the war with just a single phone call but chooses not to.

He adds that Trump not only fails to act but also continues to provide Israel with funding, weapons, and political support as though nothing is happening.

According to Levy, if Netanyahu and Trump deserve any award, it is one that, fortunately, has not yet been established the "Genocide Award."
