Dhaka, Sept. 11 -- The Nepal's government of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has banned 26 social media platforms, including Facebook and WhatsApp.

In protest, younger generation-Generation Z-took to the streets. Law enforcement brutally cracked down on the protesters. At least 21 young people were killed. Nepal's popular actress Manisha Koirala has reacted angrily to bloody protests in the country.

She wrote in an emotional post, "Today is a black day for Nepal. The voices of ordinary people are being silenced at gunpoint. Justice is needed. This is result of raising a voice against corruption that cannot be accepted."
