Dhaka, July 19 -- National Citizen Party (NCP) Convener Nahid Islam on Friday called upon citizens across Bangladesh to unite in what he described as a national struggle against "Mujibism and fascism," vowing to continue the fight until justice, reform, and state reconstruction are achieved.

Speaking at a street rally in front of the Krishi Bank premises in Munshiganj, Nahid said, "We are fighting against Mujibism and fascism-and we believe we will win this fight. We know that another battle lies ahead, and we are preparing for it. We must face it with courage."
