Dhaka, Feb. 28 -- A coalition of student leaders, instrumental in toppling the Sheikh Hasina government, is set to formally launch a new political party, marking a significant shift in Bangladesh's political landscape.

The party, named the National Citizens Party (NCP), aims to position itself as a key player ahead of the country's 13th National Parliamentary Election, expected to take place later this year or by mid-next year.
