Dhaka, July 27 -- National Citizens Party (NCP) chief Nahid Islam and other central leaders paid a courtesy call on the family members of 16 people who were martyred in Sylhet in the July 24th mass uprising to remove the dictator.
The meeting took place in the hall room of a prestigious hotel in Sylhet city on Saturday. The relatives of the martyrs broke down in tears. The NCP chief expressed his deep condolences to them and assured all possible cooperation in expediting the trial of the martyrs.
