Dhaka, Sept. 23 -- National Citizen Party (NCP) Chief Coordinator Nasiruddin Patwary has said "three blocs" are emerging in the current political landscape.
He announced that a new bloc is coming under the leadership of the NCP, which will be the "largest alliance", comprising young people, reports bdnews24.com.
He also confirmed the rumours about the NCP merging with Gono Odhikar Parishad (GOP).The NCP leader answered questions from journalists after a meeting with Chief Election Commissioner AMM Nasir Uddin at the Election Commission headquarters on Monday.
He claimed that the NCP, which is seeking registration, will secure 150 seats in future elections using the Shapla (water lily) symbol.
