Dhaka, April 19 -- Nazu Akhand, a Bangladeshi singer with a sweet voice, is starting to live permanently in the United States with her husband Shamim Sharif and two sons, after moving to the country two years ago. In the past two years, the singer has performed in nearly 100 stage shows in various states in the United States. Nazu, who lives permanently in Jamaica, USA, said that today is her birthday. But this year's birthday will be much more festive because today Nazu will be performing at Eid and Boisakhi events in Brooklyn, a place 30 minutes away from Jamaica.
