Dhaka, Nov. 20 -- Bangladesh Navy ship 'Protyay' has departed from Chattogram to take part in the International Fleet Review in Colombo from November 27-30, celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Sri Lankan Navy.

The ship is expected to return on December 5. A ceremonial farewell was given to the ship with a band performance following Navy traditions today.

Commander Chattogram Naval Area Rear Admiral Md. Moinul Hasan was the chief guest and delivered a speech to the ship's officers and sailors. Local naval officers and family members of the ship's crew were also in attendance. The Navy's ships will take part in the international fleet review alongside representatives, observers, and military experts from various countries.
