Dhaka, June 21 -- Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin on Saturday assured that the schedule for the upcoming national parliamentary election will be announced on time, as per the Election Commission's action plan.

"You will know the election date in due time, InshaAllah," the CEC told reporters after inaugurating a two-day training session on electoral laws and regulations at the Election Training Institute.

In response to questions about the election timeline and planning, the CEC said, "We are following an action plan. Many call it a roadmap, but we prefer the term 'action plan'. Every office operates under one, and so do we-especially with a major election ahead."
