Dhaka, Nov. 3 -- With the theme "Build the country with equality and justice through cooperatives," the 54th National Cooperative Day-2024 was celebrated in Nilphamari on Saturday.
The program began on Saturday morning with the hoisting of the national and cooperative flags at the premises of the Deputy Commissioner's Office.
Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Nayiruzzaman formally inaugurated the event by raising the flags.
Following the inauguration, a colorful rally paraded through the main streets of the town and ended back at the Deputy Commissioner's Office.
Later, a discussion meeting was held in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner's Office, jointly organized by the district administration and the Department of Cooperatives....
