Dhaka, April 4 -- Eid-ul-Fitr, the most significant religious festival of Muslims, was celebrated across Bangladesh on Monday with due solemnity, enthusiasm, and joy aimed an environment of greater political liberty achieved through the July-August mass uprising last year.
The festival marked the conclusion of Ramadan, the month abstinence and spiritual exertion.Millions of worshippers gathered for Eid prayers at mosques, eidgahs, and on open grounds in Dhaka and across the country.
