Dhaka, Sept. 2 -- The 13th national parliamentary election will take place by February next year as planned, with no possibility of a delay, Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Adviser Dr Asif Nazrul reaffirmed on Monday.

Speaking to reporters at his ministry, Dr Nazrul stressed that the government remains "firmly committed" to holding the election on schedule. "This position has been repeatedly emphasized by our Chief Adviser. The Election Commission has been instructed accordingly, and all necessary preparations are underway," he said.
