Dhaka, March 7 -- The National Jute Day-2024 was observed on Wednesday throughout the country including Kishoreganj with a view to making jute goods popular among the people.
This year's theme of the day is 'Bangabandhu er Sonar Desh, Smart Pat Shilper Bangaldesh'.
District Administration in Kishoreganj supported by Department of Jute, Jute Research Institute arranged a colourful rally, discussion, handbills distribution and cultural function marking the National Jute Day.
A discussion meeting was held in this regard at the local Collectorate Conference room on Wednesday morning. Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC, General) Rubel Mahamud was in the chair.
