Dhaka, April 20 -- A Dhaka court has ordered the seizure of four apartments and three vehicles belonging to former State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, Nasrul Hamid. Additionally, 70 of his bank accounts-containing Tk 379.6 million-have been frozen.

The order was issued on Sunday by Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Zakir Hossain Ghalib, following a petition by Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Assistant Director Minhaz Bin Islam.

According to the ACC, one of the seized apartments is located in Priyoprangon, Poribagh, while the remaining three are in PP Tower, Banani. The total value of the apartments is estimated at Tk 8.5 million.

The seized cars are reportedly worth Tk 24.7 million.
