Dhaka, March 5 -- Dhanmondi Sports Club recorded a narrow four-wicket win over Brothers Union Limited in their first match of the Dhaka Premier League (DPL) Cricket at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the capital's Mirpur on Tuesday.
Sent into bat first, Brothers Union Limited piled up a fighting total of 262 for the loss of five wickets in the stipulated 50 overs.
In reply, Dhanmondi Sports Club reached the winning target scoring 264 for the loss of six wickets when they had just eight balls to spare.
Nurul Hasan of Dhanmondi Sports Club remained unbeaten with 58. His 53-ball innings was decorated with four fours. Nrurul Hasan was adjudged the Man of the Match.
