Dhaka, Sept. 4 -- Minhajul Abedin Nannu will contest in the upcoming Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) elections. However, the former Bangladesh captain believes that many qualified individuals often don't get the opportunity within the BCB.
The BCB elections are set to be held in the first week of next month. The official process has already begun under the leadership of Aminul Islam Bulbul's panel. If all goes as planned, Bulbul himself will also contest, where he will find his longtime teammate "Nannu" (Minhajul Abedin) as a rival. Speaking to the media on Wednesday at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, Nannu formally announced his intention to run for the elections.
