Dhaka, Nov. 9 -- Opener Naim Sheikh keeps up his good run of form as Mymensingh reached 100-2 on rain-curtailed Day 1 against Dhaka Division in the National Cricket League (NCL) third round at Cox's Bazar Cricket Academy on Saturday.
Only 32 overs play were possible after a delayed start due to wet outfield. Naim Sheikh made a 55 not out to lead the charge, ensuring Mymensingh won't fall in deep trouble despite some good bowling effort by Dhaka bowlers.
Aminul Islam Biplob was batting on 8 with Naim when the bails were drawn for Day 1. Abdul Mazid added 23 before retiring hurt due to injury.
