Dhaka, July 22 -- National Citizen Party (NCP) Convener Nahid Islam on Monday urged people of all communities living in hills to strengthen the bond of unity and harmony for peace and development of the country.

"There are various conflicts between different ethnic groups living in the hills. Both the hill and Bengali communities are deprived in various fields including economic development, education, and health. If development is brought about in the hills, then there is no alternative to unity and harmony," he said.
