Dhaka, July 22 -- Nagad has handed over a life insurance cheque worth BDT 3.5 lakh to the family of Sentu Hawlader, a sales representative (DSO) from the Narail region who lost his life in a road accident.

The cheque was handed over on Sunday at the head office of insurance partner Waadaa. Insure, to the deceased's wife Sumaiya Islam and other family members.

DSOs are not direct employees of Nagad - they are appointed through regional distributor houses. Nonetheless, Nagad believes that it still holds a responsibility toward them. From this sense of accountability, Nagad continues its efforts to stand by these field-level workers, says a press release.
