Dhaka, Dec. 28 -- A mob beating during an attempted robbery in Araihazar, Narayanganj, led to the death of a robber named Billal (45) and serious injuries to a woman named Lovely (25), suspected to be his accomplice. The incident occurred around 11 PM on Thursday in the Kahendi village of Haizadi Union.Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Mehedi Islam visited the scene upon receiving the news. Billal's body has been sent to Narayanganj's Victoria General Hospital morgue for an autopsy, while Lovely has been admitted to Araihazar Upazila Health Complex for treatment.Billal Hossain was a resident of Narandi village in Haizadi Union and the son of Abdul Majid.
