Dhaka, Feb. 12 -- Numerous mother vessels carrying food products are currently waiting for unloading at Chattogram Port. However, due to a shortage of lighter vessels, transportation of goods from these mother vessels has been severely disrupted.In response to this crisis, the Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) has launched a mobile court operation in Narayanganj's Shitalakshya, Meghna, and Dhaleshwari Rivers, as well as at various river ports across the country.
