Bangladesh, Feb. 3 -- The Narayanganj District Administration and Returning Officer has started receiving and preserving postal ballots sent by the postal department in the presence of candidates' agents, ahead of the 2026 referendum and the 13th National Parliamentary Election.
The ballot receiving and preservation process took place in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner's office, chaired by District Commissioner and Returning Officer Md. Raihan Kabir on Monday.
During the session, 4 postal ballots were received for Narayanganj-1 constituency, none for Narayanganj-2, 7 for Narayanganj-3, 22 for Narayanganj-4, and 43 for Narayanganj-5. A total of 52 postal ballots were collected.
