Dhaka, June 19 -- Bangladesh are currently locking horns with Sri Lanka in the first Test of the two-match series at the Galle International Stadium. At the heart of this batting masterclass is veteran wicketkeeper-batter Mushfiqur Rahim, whose superb knock powered Bangladesh's charge.
Mushfiqur played a magnificent innings, scoring 163 off 350 balls to register his 12th Test century. In the process, he broke multiple significant records.
He now holds the world record for the most international runs by a player who has never bowled a single delivery - surpassing Australia's Adam Gilchrist. Mushfiqur's tally now stands at 15,502 international runs, eclipsing Gilchrist's 15,461.
