Dhaka, March 12 -- She was taken to the stage to perform at the age of three and a half.
She grew up in a culturally diverse family where her sisters were involved in singing, dancing, and acting in theatre plays.
Her father rendered Nazrul Sangeet and modern songs. Her father was a student of Jaganmoy Mitra. He could also play the flute very beautifully.
Basically, her singing career began with her sisters. Later, she learned Tagore songs from late Sadi Mohammad, late Kalim Sharafi, Sanjeeb Dey, Rezwana Chowdhury Bannya, Pijush Barua, Hashi Biswas and others in different times.
