Sirajganj, Jan. 18 -- Multiple vegetables cultivation in single land to make more profit gets momentum in various villages of Raiganj upazila in Sirajganj. Local farmers are choosing eggplant, radish, cauliflower, pepper, maize, pumpkin etc. as the main crops for cultivation.

Abdul Latif, a farmer who cultivated radish in one bigha. Besides radish, he also planted cauliflower and maize in the same land. Even though two types of vegetables are cultivated in single land together, the production is satisfactory as he gets bumper yield of cauliflower and radish. Apart from Latif, Faridul and Mintu, farmers from Ghurka village including Amzad Sheikh of Jainnpur village of the upazila were also cultivating multiple crops on the same land.
