Dhaka, Sept. 30 -- At the inauguration of the convening committee of Jessore Sadar Upazila Muktijoddha Unit Command and the prayer for the deceased and sick heroic freedom fighters, Deputy Commissioner Azharul Islam said that the biggest weapon during the Liberation War was unity.
There was unity among people of all religions, castes and nationalities. Unity was the main foundation of victory.
The purpose of the Liberation War was the liberation of the countrymen. Due to the politics of division, the countrymen have not been liberated even in 54 years. If equality, independence and dignity are achieved, the countrymen will be liberated.
