Dhaka, March 6 -- Muktar Ali set an unwanted record during his side Partex Sporting Club's match against Shinepukur Cricket Club in a Dhaka Premier League (DPL) match on Tuesday last.

His side lost the game by 77 runs, largely due to his wayward bowling.

Put into bat first, Shinepukur posted 298-5, of which the batter took 99 runs from Muktar's nine overs.

It was the second worst bowling in Bangladesh's List-A cricket history, behind 104 runs conceded by Iqbal Hossain and Shahadat Hossain Rajib.
