Dhaka, Jan. 29 -- Morocco is preparing to host the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), which will take place from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.
Six cities across the country have been selected to hold matches for this enthralling football tournament, with nine stadiums chosen to welcome teams from across Africa.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF), in collaboration with the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (RMFF) and the Local Organizing Committee of the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations, announced today the cities that will host the event.
Rabat, the capital, will have the most venues, with four stadiums, while Casablanca, Agadir, Marrakech, Fez, and Tangier, will each chip in with one stadium.
