Dhaka, Sept. 23 -- A meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee to be held today to verify the sighting of the moon and fix the starting date of the holy month of Rabius Sani, Hijri 1447.

Religious Affairs Adviser Dr AFM Khalid Hossain is scheduled to chair the meeting at 6:30 pm, after the Maghrib prayer, at the Islamic Foundation's Baitul Mukarram conference room, according to a press release on Monday.
