Dhaka, Sept. 22 -- Mohanlal has a career spanning nearly five decades. This popular actor of the Malayalam industry has worked in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi films.

Along with acting, he has also directed and produced. In total, he has more than 400 films.

In recognition of his contribution to cinema, he has previously received awards like Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan. This time, Mohanlal is being honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award.
