Dhaka, Dec. 1 -- Mohammad Mizanur Rahman Munshi has taken over as the new Superintendent of Police (SP) of Narayanganj district. He officially assumed his duties on Saturday afternoon. Senior officials from the district administration and police welcomed him with flowers. According to sources, Mohammad Mizanur Rahman Munshi joined the Bangladesh Police through the 25th BCS as an Assistant Superintendent of Police. Originally from Cumilla, he began his career as ASP of the Ukhiya Circle. He later served in the Chattogram Metropolitan Police, RAB, and the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) as Additional Superintendent of Police. He also served as Superintendent of Police in Noakhali and most recently in Panchagarh district.
