Dhaka, July 30 -- The body of Faria Tasnim Jyoti, 30, who went missing after falling into an uncovered drain in Gazipur's Tongi, was recovered after 36 hours.
The deceased Faria Taznim was daughter of late Oliullah Ahmed Babul of Baganpara village in Chuadanga Sadar upazila.
She was a resident of Dhaka's Mirpur area and worked as a sales manager at Moni Trading Corporation.
Md Shahin Alam, senior station officer of Tongi Fire Service, confirmed the matter to the media and said that the body was retrieved from a waterbody in Haydarabad area of Tongi around 9am.Earlier victim Jyoti accidentally fell into the uncovered manhole in front of a hospital near Hossain Market on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway around 9pm on Sunday night.
